I'm Back~! :D

hello people!

i am finally home and successfully done the full coverage of Youth Challenge 2013. :)

the filming and the Youth Challenge 2013 ended last Saturday,22nd June. but.. as you guys know, i have not blogged although the filming was over, simply because i am too exhausted.

even now, i am having bad headache + fever.

speaking of Youth Challenge, it was challenging, alright. and of course, super exhausting!

if you do not have enough stamina, do not even think of participating. the most important stuff that you need will be you mental preparation. during the filming, some of the participants are on the verge of giving up, some of them fight with each other and bla bla bla. there really are a lot of drama going on. hohooo.

as the production crew, i.. honestly did not fancy how the organiser of the programme do the planning and etc. enough said about that.

as of my current condition.. i am having fever due to exhaustion, i think. and i think i am doing okay with my works. i still find some senior colleagues annoying, but so far, i can handle that. :)

Zombie much..?

hello hello awesome people!

i am supposed to blog regularly, just because i want to and it feel great to blog. but then, as you noticed, everything did not happen as i planned.

i was stuck with Grid during the last minute, somehow, and been busy eversince. i did not even get enough rest and i feel like a zombie every time i wake up. hahahaa. T.T yesterday was the last day of the program; Grid! yeayyer! so i am free! i mean, just for today. hahahaa.

i will be MIA again soon, for a week as i am involved with Youth Challenge. i have no life. D:

and i am very worried as Youth Challenge programme  required us to be fit.. and i do not think i am that fit anymore. i rarely have time to exercise since i started working as our working hours are not fixed and always differs from the schedule. frustrating, but that is my work and i have to suck it up. muehehee. :)

and one thing that i hate.. we have meetings. like a lot of them. hahahhaaa. D:

i need to buy supplies for the Youth Challenge too.

shall go now to finish my never ending works. ;)

Review ; Lovely ME:EX

hello everyone!

lets talk about this! :)

i received the eyeshadow from TheFaceShop Brunei, along with a few masks for my birthday gift. this birthday gifts are applicable for all the member card holders. :) *but i am not sure about this year.. *

back then, i rarely use anything as in makeup stuffs on my face, so i had this laying around for a few months. :p and that, explains why the packaging looks yellow-y and old. :p

i started to use make-ups, no thanks to my girlfriends, Ammal and Nisnis. :p joking, girls. tehehee.

bytheway, some of the photos in this post are blurry, and that is because.. it is my first time using my boyfriend DSLR Camera by myself. so yeah. i had troubles in handling / using the camera to it optimum quality. :(

and.. hopefully this review is helpful! :)

Lovely ME:EX mono eyeshadow

the colour; OR202.

after i started wearing makeups, i used this as a base for my eyelids. it has a peachy orange-y colour, with shimmer. i love the colour. it usually give my eyelids a natural look with a bit of colour and shimmer.

pigmentation is quite good, so i usually keep on blending this eyeshadow until i get that somewhat natural shade.

it is as if the eyeshadow turns white but seriously, that is not the case. :p

after foundation and powder, i always used this on my eyelids, then i applied some eyeliner and mascara to finish it off, and... that is the look for me. :)

i rarely use a lot of eyshadow and other makeup stuffs, just because i am still new in this makeup stuffs. :)

re-purchase? - 55% yes, 45% no. it is just because i am not ready to stick to this colour for my whole life. :p i want to try other neutral colours that work best with my face / skin tone. tehehee.

Seoul Garden~

a restaurant name at Yayasan Food Court, which offer Korean Delicacies. :)

i found out this restaurant as Zzul bring me there, to try out the foods.

we are actually on hunt, searching for nyummy and affordable Korean foods, here in Brunei. :)

overall, i quite like the foods at Seoul Garden, even tho they might not be my favorite. like.. i love some of them, i dislike others. but you should try the foods there, just because my opinion might differs with yours. :) who knows, you love the foods there? tehehee. ;)

p/s : sorry, i can't remember all the prices of the foods correctly because.. i misplaced the receipts and i think it was my boyfriend that paid the bill. so yeah. sorry yea.

Hello Weekend!

morning everyone!

quick recap from yesterday;

i was working, as usual and nothing much goes on. it is just another plain Saturday.. nothing much going on, really. In the afternoon, i was assigned to be the person who accompany the participants both from Singapore and Brunei for the Welcoming Event of Grid 2013 and the event finished around 6.30pm. and i tried to sleep early last night but i failed miserably. :p


Currrently it is 5.01a.m. if you are wondering why i wake up so early, here is the answer;

i am involved with Grid 2013 and will be meeting up with the production team at 6.15a.m, at Sengkurong area. the events for today will be Tasek Merimbun photography / nature photgraphy, followed up with sunset photography in the late afternoon and lastly, night photography. i am quite excited to be a part of this, plus we will be camping at Kg Bebuloh and return tomorrow morning. :)

hopefully today event will go smoothly as planned and lets enjoy the day! ohh, and for those who are participating in "THE RUN", best of luck guys! :)

p/s : CONGRATULATIONS to my girlfriends. Ammal and Ella who passed their semester 4! Alhamdulillah. hwaiting on the semester 5, darlings! :D ❤

Laneige 8th Anniversary and Outing with Girlfriends~

hi everyone!

i should have done this post sooner, but i keep on forgetting to take the photos from my boyfriend plus i am finding the time to do this post and.. here it is!

i am invited by one of beauty consultant at Laneige, Aicen for the 8th Anniversary Party and... i am so happy to be invited! tehehee. and since i can bring any friends with me, i asked the girlfriends as in Ammal, Ella and Nisnis to join me at the event. at first, i am quite frustrated because there are no confirmed answers from them whether they want to join me or not, but after a few says, my girlfriends said yes! wheee~~~

i was overwhelmed with happiness because i miss the girlfriends. our last meetup was in early March, and that explains why i was so happy and excited. ^^

Laneige 8th Anniversary Party was held at the VIP Hall, 4th Floor Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. the event started around 4pm and ends around 6pm, but we left 30minutes earlier simply because we were famished. :p there were some light refreshment at the event, but since the crowd is so big, i dropped the idea of getting the foods. hahaa. the event was fun, we laughed a lot, and the host for the day, Liz, is so cheerful and she really know how to take our attentions. ;)

ohhh, there were a lot of prizes to be won by answering questions, but i did not get any since i am too lazy to join in. muahahahaa. it was fun to watch the others tho. :p Ammal and Nisnis and me also bought the Snow BB Cream, since it is on discount. ;)

and the foods that we have for dinner are Baked Cheese Chicken and Rice for me, Fish and Chips for Zzul, Spaghetti Bolognise for Ammal baby, Black Pepper Chicken for Ella and Nisnis ordered the same meal that i ordered. :)

Cheezbox Cafe & Restaurant!

Foods! yes, we are talking about foods again.

p/s : this is a very late post. i actually forgot to update and publish this post.. so yeah. :/

Cheezbox is like.. my parents and brother favorite restaurant ever since i brought them to Cheezbox.according to them, the foods are delicious and eventho it is a little expensive, it is worth the price.

well, i have to agree with them as.. yeappp, their foods are nyummy! noms! :p

last month me and boyfiee went there just because i had craving for Lasagna. yes, again. my endless craving. -.-

Chicken Lasagna! BND7.90. i love it! :9

Chicken Kolo Mee. good stuffs. taste so lovely. this is my parents favorite dish at Cheezbox. :) BND 4.90 *i think*

Sweet and Sour Chicken. oh so gooooooood! :D i blame Nisnis for this. :p  i don't remember how much this cost. around BND5 to 6 i suppose..? :)

we had Rose and Lavender Tea. i am not a big fan of these flower tea, i prefer my usual choice of Green Tea. tehehee. :)

its Friday~ and i can't say "NO"

hello people~!

hows your day..?

mine is quite okay, eventho i am so moody in the beginning of the day, just because i am not supposed to work today. however, i had to wake up early and went for work today, because the others cannot made it.

the story goes like this~

last Wednesday, while i was in the middle of doing my work, one of my colleague approach me and said " Mei, don't forget on Friday that you had to accompany the producer since everyone else cannot made it this Friday due to bla bla blaaa." i am about to say NO, but then.. like.. without me accompanying, the producer can't proceed the work as the producer had difficulties to speak Malay. so i reluctantly agree to accompany the producer.

to be honest, i would not mind to accompany the producer since the producer is so fun to work with. i simply dislike the fact that i am informed last minute, and somehow... i feel like.. i had to do most of the work  that should not be done by me. if you get what i mean.

regardless, i had fun joining the interviewing. tehehee. :) and the people are so nice that they actually prepared a lot of nyummy foods for us. hahahaa.

Review ; Garnier Instant Fairness BB Moisturizer

hello ladies~

we meet again in another review of mine; Garnier BB Cream! :p

i read a lot of reviews about this BB Cream where some people like it and some other dislike it.

so~ i was actually reluctant to purchase and try this, because i don't know whether i will love it or vice versa.

last year in December, me and Zzul family went to Kota Kinabalu [Click! Kota Kinabalu Vacation ] and.. well, i decided to buy this since it was only RM19.90 so,, why not? :)

oh, if you are interested to try this out, you can easily find this BB Cream at Guardian. :)

i think it only have 20ml of product in it..? SPF 26. squeeze tube, so it is hygienic. ;)

actually quite love this BB Cream. :)

it is quite thick in consistency but amazingly, it is so easy to blend. i always use this BB Cream in a rush because, as i said, it blends so easily. :)

it is feels light on the skin. not heavy at all. :)

i think it has a light to medium coverage.

oh, i don't remember what shade is this in.. :/ but the shade is close enough to my original skin tone and i love how it brighten up my face. :)

it has a smell that i don't know how to describe, but it is okay as i am not bothered by the smell. :)

after setting this BB Cream with my powder, i am good to go!

i don't really have any issue with this BB Cream. it is cheap and it feels good on my skin. :)

however, i probably not gonna repurchase this because i love my Missha foundation more. muahahaa. but then again, i may repurchase this as.. it is so easy to work with.. :)

Review ; Essence Longlasting Eyepencil~

hi everyone! :D

here is another review of mine; the Essence Longlasting Eyepencil. ^^

i purchased these eye pencils at Paloma, Brunei, for BND3.90 each? cheappp! :D

bought it in Black and Turquoise colour~

retractable eye pencil. :)

so~ i am in LOVE with these eyeliner as they are very pigmented and yes, they are longlasting as they claim to be. most of the time, i have to use waterproof makeup remover to remove these eyeliner.

what not to love when it is very affordable and it have a very good quality? :)

i am in love with the blue / turquoise colour. teheee.

nowadays, i rarely use them just because i tend to skip eyeliner and somehow, i prefer liquid eyeliner. but then again, i still love these eye pencil compared to the liquid eyeliner.

i will definitely buying more of these and of different colours. :)

updating...

my current situation.

i felt okay, this morning..

but then, as my workload is becoming higher and higher since most of the people asked me to do this and that, i became gloomy. D:

i hate it when they just want to boss me around.

they don't even teach me how to do stuffs correctly. they simply asked me to do the task and.. me myself will find out about that.

so far, i am okay and i still manage to do all my work without much difficulties, thanks to the helpful senior colleague.

but then, today, i am so stress out that i almost scream out loud and cryyy.

:/

i miss my good friend, Nurul. babeee, come back soon because i am so lonely here. T.T

Random ; June~

hello people!

tehehee. good morning~ i feel very bubbly today~ eventho i am actually suffering from toothache.. :( i think i need to go to the dentist soon, because i am not willing to have another tooth of mine taken away. hohoo.

not so much work for today, so far, but i think the workload will increase later in the afternoon.

and.. it is June already! :o the time moves so fast..

and yesterday, it was a great day~ with my girlfriends~ but i shall blog about that later or in my next post. :)
